Wow. Just wow. Ad Vitam is the kind of film that leaves you asking yourself, “What just happened?” And that, my friends, is why this movie is GENIUS.

First of all, the plot. What even is it? Who cares! Something about immortality and teenagers rebelling, but honestly, I stopped trying to understand 15 minutes in and just let it wash over me like a poorly edited fever dream. The dialogue is so deep you’ll spend more time trying to figure out if the characters are saying something profound or if they’re just bad at talking. Either way, it’s a total vibe.

The visuals are absolutely stunning. The blue LED lights and moody glares seem to carry the entire movie.

The acting is… wow. Just wow. Every line delivery feels like it’s on the verge of being a cry for help, which really adds to the tension.

This movie is for everyone—sci-fi fans, drama lovers, people who enjoy making fun of things, or even those who just want a good excuse to drink heavily while watching something. Ad Vitam is the best terrible movie I’ve ever seen. If you’re looking for a thought-provoking masterpiece, go somewhere else. But if you want to experience what it feels like to watch a movie that thinks it’s a genius when it’s actually just high on its own immortality serum, this is your jam.

Five stars. I would watch it again, but only because I still don’t understand what’s happening.
