I loved this movie so much! I am a big fan of the dog man books so when I saw the trailer for the dog man movie I was so excited! Yesterday I saw the movie and it was great! The movie was based of the 3rd book where lil Petey was introduced. I have never laughed so much at a movie in my life and that’s not an exaggeration this movie is hilarious.i do have think that grandpa didn’t add anything to the plot but again he did add a heartwarming talk with Petey and Lil Petey so even that has its positives. I also love how well they transitioned the characters from 2d to 3d the character I was worried about was Lil Petey but his design was great too! The movie has amazing animation it really feels like a dog man book brought to life it has a lower frame rate and mixes 2d with 3d flawlessly. I love the voice acting so dang much I mean every single voice actor from Lil Rel Howrey to Pete Davidson everyone was amazing! Lastly the story was simple but served its purpose and that purpose was to give an adventure for the characters so basically Petey creates a clone of himself thinking it will be evil and rotten to the core but instead comes out a good hearted little kitty named Lil Petey so Petey steals Chiefs fish and tells him to destroy do goodies so the fish wants to kill Lil Petey so Dog Man and Petey team up to stop this evil fish pretty simple nothing too complex. This movie is a 5 out of 5 bye!
